The need for Driver's education services for persons with disabilities has continued to increase despite the lack of service providers to meet that need.  With increased opportunities in employment, recreation, education and entertainment, getting to persons with special needs to these activites is still a challenge.  Excel driving school provides specialized instruction and evaluations to help individuals achieve steps towards independent driving.

Academic Tutoring:  $40.00 per lesson

In order to participate:

• Student must be 18 or older

• Possess a valid birth certificate

Private one-on-one tutoring to help students prepare for the knowledge test at Secretary of State. All materials are provided including usage of our computer lab and basic computer simulators.

Simulator Instruction ____________ $45.00 per hour

A student needs no prior driving experience to participate in this service. Recommended for students of all ages needing:

• Practice on basic skills or advanced driving techniques

• To learn how to operate a manual transmission

• Can be equipped with hand controls and left foot braking

We have 3 styles of simulators available at our main office. Lessons are supervised by a certified instructor.

5 hours = $ 200.00

10 hours = $ 400.00

Simulator and tutoring combination:   $55 per hour

This package is a great way to maximize training hours with a student that is a beginner driver. We have an in home simulator that can be made available to students that have a compatible PC.

Private Driving Lessons:   $ 60.00 per lesson

In order to participate:

• Have a Level 1 license or a Temporary Instruction Permit

• Students under 18 must have passed a driver education course

Lessons are on a one to one basis. Students will be picked up and dropped off at home.

10 lessons = $ 550.00 ($55.00 per lesson)
